Default Truck running rough

A friend of mine just told me he is having problems starting on his 03 CTD, he took it to a mech. and they say new injectors at a cost of $3K plus ball joint for a total of $5K sound right. I know what the ball joints cost. The truck does run but rough.

Seems really high to me. Buddy here just got ball joints for around 1000. Injectors seem really high too.

Well do the math on the injectors 395 x 6 straight from Bosch.

Ball joints can vary due to shop labor rates.

I was quoted $1400 cad to do my upper and lower ball joints. I did it my self for less than half but took one heck of a long day. I think you could find a little cheaper but I would pay more to ensure a quality job.

I bought four Moog BJs for $400 and the dealer charged me $400 to install them.
