$1300 later, I got my truck back. New master cylinder, rear drums, 3" shoes, stock wheel cylinders, seals and hardware. Those people were idiots. I had to tell them how to get the drums off. I won't let them touch it again. Front brakes are next.

I did a rear wheel disk conversation it wasn't bad but we couldn't ever get the E Brake to work.

Well, that figures. Finally a nice day with nothing pressing to do, so I decided to start installing my cooler toobs. Didn't get very far. 1st fail, can't use a 2nd gen elbow, the angle is wrong. 1st gen is a 90, 2nd gen is like 110. It hits the wheel well. 2nd fail, the boots I ordered for the short tube between the elbow and intercooler were too short. Got to order longer ones. So, I put it back together and gave up for now.

Somewhere along the line the hitch on the truck got damaged. Can't get the insert to go in. Trying to find a replacement, but the only outfit that makes one specifically for a first gen is out of stock. The ones I could find they wanted a ridiculous more than MSRP and even a more ridiculous shipping price from the lower 48.

Gave up on replacing the hitch and decided to repair it. I have a replacement tube coming. All it will take is a little welding.
Got the turbo to intercooler pipe installed. Easy with all the right parts.

Next is to start on the intercooler to intake. I need gaskets to R&R the induction horn. Local parts store has them. Once the new horn is on I can measure, cut, and bead the tube. After that, I need to drill and tap a couple 5/16-32 holes for the temperature probes. One in the elbow off the turbo (the easy one), and one in the induction horn. That will require a little more creativity. The horn is pre drilled and taped for water/meth injection, but they are 1/8 pipe. So, I will need to drill and tap the pipe plug. Going to be tight.

The next part is going to be what to change next. The whole point of the folly is to lower my EGT. Do I upgrade the H1C from its current 60mm compressor to the 62mm, or start decreasing fuel out of the injection pump. I guess that will all depend on how well it runs with just the larger tubes.

Okay. Got the intercooler to intake done. Took it for a post alteration check drive. 1st impression? Eh. Most notable was throttle response. Definite improvement there. Almost worth the price of admission. Though I didn't push it on this short drive, I did push it to 35psi from almost a stop. EGT maybe kinda sorta lower, but I can't say for sure. Another thing I noticed is my cruising boost. It use to be zero along the river with a slight down hill. Not I see about 2psi. That was about what my 5 speed ran at.
