Gives me a rush....but IIRC the Challenger platform (on which this concept is built) was sistered with the Barracuda; the Road Runner was a B-body(Charger/Satellite...and maybe Duster knows for sure...Coronet?)

I kinda miss some of the old Belvederes and Polaras...and certain years of the Imperial.

would love to see a 'Cuda version!!! loved those cars, I had the earlier version a 67 fastback, man I wish I owned that now.

here's a list of a few cars me or my brothers had over the years that I would give blood to have back now;

1961 Impala 409cu. in.
1964 Tempest 4cyl. (was basically a half a 348, if I recall correctly) engine was in front with a transaxle in rear, shifter mounted on dash
1958 Imperial with the Hemi, not sure what cu. in. that year?
1968 Satellite 383 4 speed
1968 Barracuda fastback 318 auto
1967 Barracuda fastback slant 6
1966 300 383 4 speed
1970 Nova SS 350 4 speed
if I am counting right 8 total Dodge Darts 1963-68 models
lots more, would have to get together with the brothers to remember them all, good god where was Barrett Jackson when we were givin these things away!!!!

Tempest 4 cyl was the right bank of a 389.

58 Hemi shoulda been a 392 IIRC.

The Barracuda started life on the Valiant frame (A-body) in 1964 it beat the Mustang to the market by 6-months as the first "Pony Car" but alas the Mustang was a better seller. The Barracuda was an A-body until 1970 when the Duster took over as the A-body's flag carrier and the Barracuda/Challenger were remade int he E-body platform as there were a bit wider so they could be road raced easier. The Challenger hung around until '72 and the Cuda until '74. The Road Runner was a B-body and was first out in '68. Dodge was jealous of the success and demanded their own stripped down street racer and the Superbee package was born. Plymouth was really at the for-front for Mopar and really pushed the boundries. The Charger was really the only thing Dodge had going for it and they whined and complained to corporate when Plymouth came out with something and kicked their ass. So the Coporate came along and made Plymouth share with Dodge. Hence the Demon, Superbee, Challenger..... they were all copies of the Duster, Road Runner and 'Cuda. Belvedere's (My favorite car BTW 1967 that is) are B-bodies. Early Darts were B-Body as well until I think '66 or so when they shrunk them down to the newly designed A-body platform. Early A's (64-66) are a bit narrower and shorter than the '67 and up A's.
