torque spec for 2500 wheels is 135 ft LB dry. I use grease and 115 ft lb.

---

My '94 SERVICE MANUAL SAYS:
  • 80-110 ft lbs (108-150 Nm) on 5 stud wheels
  • 120-150 ft lbs (163-203 NM) on 8 stud single wheels
  • 130-160 ft lbs (176-217 NM) on 8 stud dual wheels
I always use Never-Seez on my wheel studs.

I torque mine to 130.

I take mine to 140 with no seize on the threads, and then check them again after a 100 km's or so.

According to the '97 Service Manual.
"Br2500 8 stud wheel 180 N-m (135 ft. lbs)
Br3500 8 stud (Dual wheel) 195 N-m (145 ft. lbs)
NEVER USE OIL OR GREASE ON STUDS ON BR2500

Re-check after 160 kilometers (100 miles), then re-check after 800 kilometers (500 miles)"

Wow! I've been running mine at 100 ft lbs, with oil, forever. Guess I better tighten up a little.
