Default I fixed it fuel shutoff solenoid relay

Went to Radioshack today and bought a 30 amp generic 4 pin automotive relay for 7 dollars stuck it in where the old one went and she fired right up. To think I have been popping the hood every time I went to start this thing for the last two and half years is incredible. I will post up if the relay burns out again.

The thirty amp is not quite big enough. It will last quite a while if the truck starts quick. RS doesn't have an automotive 70 amp relay. You should be able to find one at an electronics components store for about $10.

Take the old one apart and clean the contacts.

It will be good as new. They get nasty from long term use. A little 400 grit paper and they are good as new. Just use some little strips of sheet metl to slip in the sides of the relay "cube". There are tabs in there that need a little help separating. KD

Man if you guys need to replace fuel shut off solenoid relays, the big one on the firewall, the link Joe just gave above is awesome They are $10 us and they are an exact match to the factory ones, they shipped one to me overnight by purolator from the states and i had clicked on UPS ground.
Joe you are the man
