Default Need more PSI ??

I am running a stock turbo and really do not want to change that. My psi at best may run 24. I have different injectors than stock with 100,000 miles on them. I just put on some 17 in wheels with 305s on them. while driving back to work in a near by state, the truck would not run more that 20 psi and just would not pull any more. it was stopping around 2000 rpm. Am I missing something or what is up with it. it is my 98 12 valve with auto trans and 3.55 gears. I was thinking of a #0 fuel plate, but did not want to overload it and just smoke. thanks for you help.

That's about right for a stock setup. A fuel plate and the AFC mods/tunning described in the "how to section" by KBBT will wake it up a bit. TST has a good chart showing the various fuel plate profiles and recommendations. I put a #8 in my '96 when i had it. Unless you have upgraded the tranny, it won't like a lot of increase in power.

Tranny upgrade is a must.
3000 rpm governor spring kit.
Reset the timing.
You have to match your injectors to the size of your turbo.
