Default 1992 winnabago suncruiser

I have the opportunity to buy a 92 winn. Rv has a cummins and I am assumming a allison transmission with 70k on it. I know nothing about a rv. Is that the same cummins that would have been in a 92 Dodge. My wife sings and we travel with a 15 month old and a 4 year old. We need some room!! I can buy the rv for 9500 any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Allen

It's the same basic engine as in a older Dodge, but with a different hp/tq rating. Most likely P pumped, so any mods can be done quite easily.

Trans is most likely an Allison, probably a 545 or 643 series. There is a tag on the side of the trans with the model # on it.

I found this online http://www.legendsofamerica.com/RV-BuyUsed.html & thought it was very informative, scroll down to the:

Inspecting a Used RV heading.

Goodluck! : )

Hey Allen, what ever happened with that winne?
I'm looking for something like that myself.
I actually had figured a gasser, class "C" 24-28 ft, maybe around $5-6K, but a cummins would be awesome for sure, especially a 12 valve!!
We want to travel some and see the country, especially the west, and not be cramped up in the car, or always worried about finding a hotel, or the next restroom
So did you buy it? Do you know of any others similar for sale?

huh? a mobile shower? of course it's a mobile shower, it's in the RV that's on wheels! LOL ...

I had to scratch my head a bit wondering what in the heck you were talking about ... it's a goofy little circular clothes hanger - has built in clothes pins for hanging towels and wash clothes to drip dry
