Sunny 90 today. I hauled dirt, rock and asphalt & the AC worked good too.

I guess tomorrow is the Solar Race. I hope Smoke & Ralph get us some good pics.

Good morning DR, 68* and 83* later....thunderboomers this afternoon. Rumor has it nice tomorrow. Clunk I'm thinking its time to sell the rentals, when Dad was able to take care of things they paid a good return on the investment.....that was years ago and since he passed and I work full time and then some. Good time to sell.

It was 107 today in Mineral Wells Tx.!
Yes, I was there.
But this ain't as bad as Ms.!

Sundancer started this morning, 13th in line, now first by about 30 miles!! Go Ralph!
Gonna follow one more day before heading back east... that's gonna be hard.

Less humid 90F today. Back to hauling asphalt. Now that's an aroma...stinky sludge residue heated to 320F by asphalt. Even the buzzards checking the trucks for an appetizer passed on what I was hauling yesterday.
Speakin' of buzzards at the dump, they are as big as 5 gal. buckets and when the bulldozer kicked up the good stuff, dozens of them buzzards dove in on it like a flock of blackbirds going after a french fry thrown out of somebody's car.
