Default 48re Hunting

One of my trucks has the 48re hunting between 1st and 2nd WHEN COLD on light throttle. It is due for a transmission oil and filter change. Might this solve the problem?
My tranny guy wants to change the governor pressure solenoid and transducer when he does the oil and filter.
Any suggestions?
ps 65,000 miles on truck.

Check the battery terminals, tps, and governor solenoid. Those seem to be the most common problems. The best way would be to hook up a scanner and see exactly what is going on. Otherwise you can throw parts at it until you stumble upon the correct fix.

What's a TPS?

More often that not start with the battery grounds.

But yes the governor pressure sensor and solonoid only last about 60k. There cheap to replace.

However I have the permentnant fix.

uhm .... a fat chick who calls herself a java programmer? bwahahaha ....

the problem is not a research tool, it's no more memory cells available ... for every new thing in, an old thing has to swap out.
