Default Tranny leak

Truck sat for 2 mos.
A tranny leak developed.
Looks like it is coming from the band adjuster nut above the pan on drivers side.
Is this likely?
Because I am guessing the torque converter has drained over time.

Are you thinking that the convertor drained and caused the pan to overfill? Have you started it and has the leak slowed?

Hm. Is there an O ring behind it that cracked or broke? I don't know that's why I ask.......

No oring . The stud and nut are just interferance. The nut locks the stud into place, you can remove the nut just dont adjust the stud. Clean the threads and use liquid teflon on the stud and reinstall the nut. All 727 based transmissions will have converter drain back to some degree when sitting over time.
