Angry wipers come on?

On my 98 every time I use the horn or turn on my right blinker the windshield wipers comes on and runs a cycle. Needles to say this is getting on my nerves. Has anybody had this happen to them?

Likely a short in the steering column wire harness, maybe a faulty multi function switch. just a thought

Mid 90's chevys had a similar issue.
Problem was solder joints would crack and have intermittent contact. About any voltage variance would cause the wipers to cycle.
This was where the wiring harness plugged into the wiper motor.
The crack would look like a light scratch in the solder.
