loss of power
My other thread got deleted for whatever reason, but I have a ppumped 24v that I'm experiencing low power issues that I've been trying to figure out.
Recently built this engine for my 4th gen 6 speed manual, its a destroked 6.7 ppumped. Its having trouble spooling even a stock hx35 and falls on its face over 2500 rpm.
stock vp injectors, .083 lines, 025 dv's, 100 fuel plate, 16* timing, fass 150,4k gov springs
I checked for air in the fuel feed and didn't see any, no boost leaks, new overflow valve, 20psi fuel pressure, messed with timing from 16-25*, messed with afc and the truck is still a dog and only gets 9-10 mpg. Starts and idles just fine, I do get a vibration after2800rpm though. Any help is much appreciated!!!

But why would i post in a common rail section for a ppumped engonw. That makes 0 sense. The truck has nothing to do with my question

I have a simple question that may seem at first uneducated but depending on how you answer may provide the answer you are looking for. Here goes.
How did you get the P Pump to communicate with the computer?

The engine will run on its own. I have a special tune to delete codes and let the truck recognize some sensors, and used a swaphelper crank sensor adapter to get my rpm signal

That answers your question. Your computer is not getting the proper inputs from the new tune. I'm actually surprised you are able to get it to run at all. Sounds like they sold you a defective tune. One thing you might try first is reinstalling the new tune. Sometimes these tunes don't take 100% on the first attempt. Get back in touch with the company you bought the tuner from and get them to troubleshoot it. And make sure to ask if you have the latest version of the tune. If you do, there may have been an earlier version that needed to be installed (FIRST). Good luck

The engine has no computer running it. Its a ppumped 24v. All mechanical
