You could come to Alberta, do a visit, then down into Idaho & visit Ramnyou over vist BRD, catch the ferry accross and I could pick you up in Victoria and take you up island and you could pick up the truck. Go back home through Colorado and visit Max. Quite simple.

That really sounds VERY TEMPTING right now.
I wouldn't even mind if it took a whole month..or longer.
Once I got the truck and camper I might just become a roaming nomad.
That lifestyle appeals to me a lot lately.
And since I just sold my RV, and was truck shopping to begin with I could just about swing it...

My "PERS statement right here says I can make $19,839.63 a year if I quit now, and that was as of June 30th and doesn't include another 5% for all my leave time.
That's $1650 abouts per month. If I live on bologna sandwiches and burn WVO I could just stay on the road forever.......

It doesn't say if it's a 12 or 24 valve,
unless that "modified torque plate" means fuel plate which would mean a 7100 pump......
Did I miss something??

If he upgraded the fuel plate it would have to be the last year they made the 12 valve since it is a '98.

Yeah, it's the last HALF year of the 12 valve,
and the only 12 valve with the rear doors on the quad cab.
If it's a 5 speed, 4x4 (which it is) then it's the "Holy Grail" of Dodge/Cummins!

Only real concerns would be the miles which isn't all that bad,
and if there's any rust being a northern model.

Reckon there's enough room under the camper to stash an extra fuel tank?

Smokediver,
We live in a rainforest on Vancouver Island. Where I live our annual rainfall is 46" per year and most of it comes in a 4 to 6 month period. We seldom get snow, so there is very little salt used on the roads.
Email the guy and ask for some pictures of key places that rust.
