Default Dealing with insurance company is a pain

Here's my dilemma.
Had '98 Dodge stolen, it's in my signature.
Now dealing with insurance for replacement.
Dodge (Chrysler) records only go back as far as 2004.
I need to find out the following:
How many
Dodge Ram 3500
Dually
Quad Cab
4 X 4
Automatic
4:10's
were produced in 1998.
Any source of this info would be greatly appreciated

Only one with your serial number which makes it very rare.
I did a quick search and couldn't find any info.

Default Stolen Vehicle

Nope not dealing with ICBC, but what difference does it make when dealing with insurance companies, they're all cut from the same piece of cloth.

The insurance adjuster hasn't a clue, so I sent him the build sheet for the truck, now I have provided him with a clue!!

The insurance only allows up to $5,000. 00 for add-ons or upgrades. You can't get a automatic rebuild for towing for that amount. The list I provided was for today's prices was in excess of $23,000.00. I know where this will go.

Now, I have located one 1998 similar to mine in all of Canada and it is listed for $42,000.00 with 56,000 miles. Do you think the insurance will buy that one for me?

Check your vehicle insurance policy!!

Well it's finally over. Insurance company's offer was rejected three time so it went to binding arbitration, Insurance company is not going to like the arbitrators report.
They should have taken my amount after their first offer. It would have saved them a considerable amount of money.
Done and gone is the '98. Move on.

I think insurance companies are interested in their stock holders at the expense of their customers.
I hope it ends well for you J_R_R.

The insurance company had missed some key points when making their initial settlement offer.
The arbitrator of course pointed this out to them. So the arbitrator awarded us two and a half times what the insurance offered. Let's say for sake of argument the insurance company offered $10,000.oo for the truck the arbitrator said it was worth $25,000.00.
