The VP44 might still be a problem but it holds ok pressure and BTW Peak can get me a direct from Bosche REMAN for almost half of what they want up here and at Chrsyler. I've got to pull the sticks and put in these others if i can get them tonight and pop test the big ones later.

$77K = No free diesel with the 800 truck!

Oh yeah. So that's what I'm doing tomorrow. 1360 for the pump.

He quoted me less than that. Dodge wanted $1780 for a Mopar reman and they said Valley said $1680 and I said stuff it, I can get it cheaper - and better, thanks. $1240...

Pretty close. If I thought I could wait, I'd order one from MWFI... Good savings there, I think. It goes from running really bad to almost perfect whenever it wants. Better get it done. Pump seems to have good pressure, but the timing is going nuts. Idle is fine, even pulling up hill is okay, but whenever I change the throttle position, it all goes for a crap.

My idle is all over the place - pressure is ok, could be better, i can build all the boost I want and the mileage hasn't really changed much.

The idle literally bounces from 850 to 1100 just because and only when it is warm and the truck shakes bad and forth really bad when this is going on. Never happens under load at all.

Well, after all day of trying to find stock injectors and coming very close with Sterling Trucks Cummins is saying that these sticks are now obsolete and are not made anymore. I call BS on that but it just means that I'm stuck (again) without being able to fix this bloody thing. A new truck is looking better every day...

It's sad about the level of customer service we get, that's fer sher. I was talking to Cummins in Port Kells the other day and they have them in stock. Who wants to pay 250 a piece though? Dunno how quick they would get to Tumbler Ridge either.
