High winds and rain are back. Had some snow during the week. Didn't last long though. Too many projects, not enough time. 1st gen needs shocks and the battery isolator replaced, plus some other wiring issues. 2nd gen needs a new lift pump harness. Bathroom remodel out at the house needs to be done. I have a toilet and a sink, just need to get them out there and installed. PA-31 annual is getting close to completion. That could free up some time. And, off the hook for jury duty.

Good Afternoon DieselRam...
Warm and humid, 86 I think. Good chance of rain tomorrow.
Local artsy trinket street fair tonight and tomorrow.
Ralph & the little lady wanna check it out tomorrow weather permitting.

The Triumph Lives....sorta.
Spent all day soaking and cleaning the green carbs....now runs on one cylinder.
Other hits with a sniff of starting fluid.
Round 2 I guess, but seems I've seen these symptoms before with cross vented carbs.
Don't think I ever resolved it.
Online search showed it's a common problem, didn't reveal any solutions.

Mostly cloudy 80's today.
Last night after supper the Boss called for me to take the KW to a town 1 hour away, leave it then drive another truck back....hauling sludge from a carwash.
This stuff had turned anaerobic. Smelled very much bad and the KW stunk like it too after it was filled with the stuff. Hauled "pug" which is crusher run (full of rock dust and very alkaline) and water. It sets up pretty tight if you roll it after spreading it out.
I though it would scour and neutralize the funk but it's still there.
I'm thinkin' house spray containing bleach.

Good Morning DieselRam.....

No rain yet, but radar shows it's coming!
Might be gone by lunch...might not.
Wonder if the "Market Street" vendors will hang around till it's gone?
Of work at 7, grocery run & home to start cooking.
Ralph is bout always hungry when he gets here.

Clunk, good luck with the smell thing.
What if you hauled a load of lime..? (the white powder, not the green fruit)

Do I need to lecture you on your wicked ways again?
Wet and windy yesterday has given way to a less wet and windy day. Going to try and get to town and retrieve the 2nd gen. While I'm there (and the wife isn't watching), I'm going to pick up a Diamond Eye exhaust system and a set of 60# valve springs for the 1st gen from a shop that is going out of business. He's sell everything cheap. Then off to get the sink and toilet to the house.

Good morning DR, 54* and overcast......clearing and 75* later. Family in and need to see them again today. My Hawaiian shirt collection needs an addition. Think I will look around and get a steak while I'm in the city.

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM...We'll see how the blood draw did. Now on to other stuff. The exhaust mount on my Harley is broken. Easy job to replace right just a couple of bolts right/ Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo The exhaust on the left side needs to come off. to do this running board has to come off than the pipe and muffler needs to come off, than the muffler needs to come off so the old pipe clamp can slide off and the new one can slide on. But wait there's more>>>>The bracket bolts onto the transmission, only 4 bolts left. One behind the oil line and one behind the oil filler. Now the oil needs to be drained (good time for a oil change) and filler removed. Now for parts. Stealer: yes we have that part, drive down to pick it up. YES!!!!!!!! wrong part, part will take 3 to 5 days to get here. Now I wait to see if the young feller ordered the right part.
