Time for 6 new tires!
Trying to decide which 235/85/16 Tires to get. Thinking about Nitto Dura Grapplers. Would appreciate anybody's experience with running them on a dually. Got a friend trying to talk me into buying Crosswind tires. So far over the years I've ran Kellys(junk), Yokahamas(junk), Dayton Timberline Commercial A/T (excellent but no longer available, Cooper Destination A/T(squirmy sidewalls, cant seem to balance them). By far the Dayton Timberlines were the best.
Any help would be appreciated. Cant afford Michelins!

Had great luck with BF Goodrich Commercial TA. They lasted well.

I run TA KTO2 on the 01 and TA Commercial traction on the 92. Each has their give and take, but I am very happy with both. I use to run Cooper Discoverers, but the quality suddenly went to pieces.

I wound up online purchased 6 Michelin Xps Traction tires 235/85r16. I don't know how they can sell them for $128 per tire! Simplytire.com. Free shipping. Seem to be $280- $310 everywhere else. Came to $734 for all 6. A friend of mine also ordered 6 of them 15 minutes later. Only 2 sizes made are 215/85/16 and 235/85/16. Finally I can afford another set of Michelins. Everybody quoted me $165.00 per Nitto Dura Grapplers, same size.
Never bought tires online before.

They could be factory seconds, If you can't mount and balance them yourself you'll have more to pay.

Forget everything I posted about those Michelins! My friend ordered 12 yesterday with his visa. They refunded the money to his card this morning. 6 were to be delivered to me, 6 to him, and I was going to pay him back cash. They called him and said that was the wrong price. DUH! I told him they should have to honor the posted price. He wouldn't press it. If I had purchased them you can bet I would've raised holy hell about it. Real price is $285.00 per tire, not $128.00. I was expecting something was wrong. Can't hurt trying to get Michelins for less that half price. SORRY GUYS! I couldn't get a good deal on something to save my soul.

Michelins do cost but worth the dollars when my son tried to save money buying tires on line for his cts-v he had to 30.00 to mount and balance plus pay balance fees in the future I am really thinking he should have just bought local and saved money

Even still it hard to beat michelins for longevity, usually good for at least 100,000 km's (62,000 mi).
