Good Morning DieselRam!!!

Mostly sunny and 70 this morning. Supposed to be cooler and drier with mid 80's and low humidity. There's a rumor of a 60* low for a couple nights
The fore-promised thunder boomers never showed last night. Getting dry around these parts.
Yesterday was almost unbearable!! Mowed under the trees between the house & the TVA line and I was dripping wet, for 3 hours!! Thermometer said 92, heat index said 104 !!!

Morning nap at the FD, then work on the work truck...
Flush bugs from the A/C condenser, grease front end, check for the squealy brake, and get that funky sweaty smell outa the drivers seat!!
And a little trailer maintenance too.

Sunny, breezy 80's. The rain didn't show up so the front yard will get a shot of stinky sulfur water later this week....hate to lose the $20 worth of grass seed I invested and sowed last fall.
Hey Jet, what's a Hoopty?

Good morning DR, 52* and clear.....78* the alleged high. Takin the scoot to work. Hoopty is my 1998 Avalon......20 model years old with near quarter million miles on the clock. A buddy in northern KY has a 1991 Corolla with 400k on the odometer, that car is where I heard the name Hoopty…..kind fits a massive mile beater/work car. I've got $1300.00 in the car including the car. Drive it anywhere. Supposed to be a nice week....hope so, go lots to do.

Sunny, coolish 80's today. Hauled asphalt in another truck with poor AC and intermittent turn signals and had to work late.

Another rough day in that hot truck with the promise of one tomorrow until they fix the one I normally drive and take care of. I hear my bed calling me.

Sunny and in the mid 70's today. Had the drag links, tie rod ends replaced and a 2 1/2 levelling kit put in the truck today, and an alignment, and 3 recalls taken care of. Rides and looks so much better now.

Congrats on the grandson Jet!
Woke up in pain and couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I'd BS with you guys. Up and down a ladder all day killed my knee. Doing the wing inspection on a Cessna Caravan, including the inside of the fuel tanks. So much no fun.
On a kinda good note, I talked to the wife last night. The plumber and septic tank guy came out yesterday and did their things. The drain line was almost completely clogged with years of "stuff" just lying there with no where to go. That has all been replaced now. He still has a few more thing to finish up today. The pumper guy gave our septic tank a clean bill of health. That was a relief! That could have been very expensive. He also gave me his senior friend discount. On the not so good side, the plumber pointed out some other things that need fixin. At least it's stuff I can do at my leisure.
