I handle the heat better if I get outside early and stay outside.
I sweat like crazy and smell really bad by lunch time but I'm not miserable hot on those days.
How do our solders handle the mid-east desert heat? It's stinkin' hot there I understand.

I just got back from UAE. The hottest i saw was about 110 during the day. Have seen 130 before. Honestly once its around 100 anything over that you don't really feel (in my opinion). You just drink a ton of water and take breaks when you can. All of the aircraft have to have AC carts anytime the avionics is going or they overheat within a few minutes. Its pretty rough and drains all energy you might have right out of you. Rest Rest Rest when you can and when your resting and not resting Drink Drink Drink (non alcoholic of course).

What gets me is seeing military convoys in the summer and those guys driving with jackets while I'm sweating bullets with a sleeveless t-shirt without the ac on....still have outdoor work to finish..
