The turf wars continue at work.
Me: Hey new boss, I need a camera to do what you are asking me to do.
Boss: Buy it.
Bean counter: Who said you could buy it?
Me: My boss.
Bean counter: He is not following MY procedures, I'm telling his boss!
His boss to me: What's this about?
Me: (Referencing HER purchasing procedures) Nothing on there about cameras.
Silence, sweet silence.

Just before my vacation was to start, the one where I was going to work some more on my cabin/retirement home, I blow out my knee. I can't drive, I can barely walk.

Damn cougar that really sucks, hope you can recover soon.
But before the valtures (Nigel) swoop in you should send your truck down here for safe keeping.

Get it fixed as fast as you can.Waiting will only make it worse.I did that in '93 and thought my knee just popped. Turned out I tore the cartilage in my knee.Excellent surgeon in StL removed 75% of cartilage and buffed under my kneecap. I saw picture of underside of my kneecap and it looked like the roof of a cave.He said it was because I waited so long. I would highly recommend a sports doctor to do the surgery. He was the knee/hand surgeon for the StLouis pro soccer team at the time.Use workmens comp if you can!

Going to have the same doctor that did my shoulders back in 95 and 96 do it IF I can get my insurance company to spring for it. Otherwise, I'm sol. What ever happened to that affordable health care thing?

Is that a trick question? The answer would be political and could get me banned
