Didn't make it to the end of the block and the speedometer quit again. Sitting here in in Sheboygan, so it will have to wait until I get back home.

Got it fixed for now. Put in the new ratio adapter this time, the old one may be intermittently jamming.

Now that it's gotten hotter around here, my idle is getting worse. Too many road blocks keeping me from getting it fixed. The 01 is going back into the tranny shop because of a serious oil leak.

Looks like I may have some more transmission mods in my future. After driving it for a while I found out the 47RH won't downshift out of OD with the TC locked. Kinda sucks for towing. So, I'm going to get that modified along with 2nd gear lock up.

It has gotten hot around here, in the 70's and the injection pump hasn't hickuped once. Even driving around town yesterday in stop and nogo traffic.

Alternator finally gave up after nearly 200K miles. Fortunately I saved the nearly new one off my 91.5 before they hauled it away. Now I just need for it to stop raining long enough to swap them out.

I have a problem...my volt meter on my 91 1\2 is jumping like crazy around the 14volt mark...its just started...I just replaced the alternator and voltage regulator tonight and it changed nothing. I checked all the grounds. 91s have an external voltage regulator. Any ideas anyone?

When I had those symptoms, it turned out to be the ignition switch. Replaced it and everything was fine. I later put the regulator on a relay to take the load off the ignition switch.
