Got some work done on the 92 yesterday. Retorked the leaf spring U bolts (past due), centered the steering wheel (off after the leaf spring change), and put a 90 adapter on the speed sensor stack. My ratio adapter is straight, so the addition of a second inline sensor for the transmission made it stick way out. My sensor stack is now well supported with a bracket tucked in next to the transfer case.

I wish, I still have more work to do. Looks like the injection pump wants to be next.

The ratio adapter broke as I was headed home last night. No speedo, no OD, no lock up, no cruise control. It was an interesting 50 mile drive. I have a replacement being made, it should be ready today.

Took it apart yesterday. Found out the ratio adapter was fine, but the drive pin had sheared. The reason the drive pin sheared was the new VSS I put in a few days before would hardly turn. Went down and got another one that turned easier. Need to come up with something better than Velcro to hold the CompU on, it keeps falling off.

I don't want to damage my dash board any more than it already is.

Old Red came up very sick Friday, not her old self, her energy was running empty. Saturday morning she wouldn't wake up, she was in a coma her lifeless body sitting in the driveway. I put her on life support with the hope to revive her. I finally got her to come back to life, and discovered she need a transplant. After a short time I completed the operation , and she was happy and ready to work. Her new alternator gave the old girl new life, this coming week she will be getting a bath.
