Need to get that piston lift pump on there. Found a lonely, straight, and dry piece of asphalt and did a WOT launch. No spinning tires or much smoke. Planted me firmly in the seat back and pegged my 35psi boost gauge. Pulled hard to about 80 then started tapering off. The poor little diaphramus pump couldn't keep up with it. The only reason I've put it off is access. No easy way to stuff my fat backside in there.

I think this will be the last year for my first gen. Its getting to be like I have another job. Every weekend I have to do something on her, mostly electrical I've been plowing, and towing the skidsteers around for about 18 years with her and its time. Shes really showing her age now. Still runs strong. Im going to be looking for a 1998 to 2002 x-tra cab short box either later this year or early next year.

I think my injection pump is fading away. The longer it runs, the slower the idle gets.
