Rumors of my demise have been grossly exaggerated. We are fine. The rental suffered a little damage and some of my stuff was damaged. Out at the house only a few things got knocked down and no damage. I was expecting to find the contents of mt Connex boxes upside down, but no, everything mostly in its place. USGS settled on a 7.0, 7 miles North of Anchorage, 28 miles deep. We have had over 190 after shocks, most of which we felt. A lot of damage to roads and other infrastructure through the area.

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM....cougar glad your ok, we're still waiting for the big one here. Seems we're over due for the 9+, they were saying the USGS is predicting it with 50 years.
On a lighter note I get to go shopping today!

Wow, December already.
Rainy near 70F today.
Installed a clutch brake on the KW, fairly easy stuff. Also got the visor lights to come on.. Have 3 small air leaks which add up to the compressor coming on more often. I'll be looking at those after hours.

Over 500 after shocks. The good news is the port of Anchorage has been cleared for business. Power has been mostly restored. The bad news is the Glenn highway is down to one lane in each direction between Eagle River and Chugiak. People are still panic buying and gas stations are running out of fuel and closing. Other main roads are closed or under repair. A lot of stores still closed due to damage. Schools closed until Wednesday. Now add to it a winter storm warning, 3 to 15" depending were you are for tomorrows commute. I still have no idea what my hangar looks like. I still have one tool box in there, I hope it's all right.

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM...Looking forward to this weeks cold, dry clear, and windy week.
Cougar, hope your stuff is ok, why do you only have major earthquakes when it's cold out?

Sunny near 70F today. After Church, I worked on Clink's brakes and got to see one of my grandsons, who wanted to help. I let him operate the new cordless impact wrench I just bought. Tomorrow I'll take a pic of one of the KW leakers...it's on the top of the air compressor.
