I've said it before and I'll say it again, If you remove the gutters, you won't have to clean them. Problem solved.. The new place doesn't have gutters, it does have river rock surrounding the house to stop splatter.

Also im sure your snowload up there would just tear them off anyways, especially if you have a metal roof.

Good morning DR, cool crisp start to an early fall day.....55* now and 75* later. Tours of the End of the Line prison is a possibility today. Brushy Mountain has been turned into a tourist attraction. Could be interesting. Lady friend wants to go.

Steep metal roofs shed snow well. Best make sure your door is on the right side of the house.

RIP Stan
Cool, breezy 70's today. Bleached and rinsed the algae off the house, weedeated & cut grass then cleaned the pump & filter on Clunkette's little fish pond today. Had to fix the messed up vacuum hose on the pull behind yard vac. The clutch pedal was sticking down and wouldn't release on the rider. A shot of spray grease fixed that. I believe a new battery is in the future of the old Craftsman rider....I have it on slow charge. I'll unplug it tonight then we'll check the voltage in the morning.

32° this AM. Wasted the day running around Anchorage looking for a lot of stuff and not finding half of it. Did find a nice old dresser to refinish. Was hoping to find a wood bed frame to fix up. Got a new mattress, leaving the old one to the mice that are living in it.

Sunny 80's today.
Had young'uns over after church to eat chili then help Mrs. Clunk & Clunkette put out Halloween decorations while Clank and I rested.. Everyone had a good time.
Forgot to check the battery voltage on the old rider, will look at it tomorrow after work....it'll be a better test anyway.
