Sunny 50's today and have the tomato plants on the front porch in the sun.
Clunkette gave Peanut a haircut while he was knocked out for a tooth cleaning, I'll post a pic when I can get a good picture.

7 cold and clear.
Had a semi take out an overpass on the main highway to Anchorage Wednesday afternoon. The south bound lanes where closed. The only alternate route is through down town Eagle River. I left for work early enough to miss most of it, but I was still half an hour late. Others said they where 7 hour late getting into Anchorage.

Mostly cloudy 50's today.
Been in my sickbed, durned 'ol head cold. Drinking lots of soup and eating lots of zinc & vitamine C.
My jalapeno cornbread muffins make the chicken noodle soup taste pretty good.

10 another cold clear morning. Off to the city to do some routine maintenance on the 01.
The state is saying the bridge will be fixed by the Monday morning commute. I'm not holding my breath.
The baby rabbits have expanded their territory. They've met their grand and great grand parents.

Good Morning DieselRam!!
A whole week of no rain! Wow!
Might be sprinkled just a little first of the week...
Still pretty wet some places.

Gonna load the smoker with chicken,
do some drainage engineering (level the puddle spots),
Hopefully get the reserve tank outa the bed of the 96,
Maybe wet a hook.
Ralph will be here around noon.

Came outa Lowes yesterday & somebody left a note, they need a shed moved.
That's 6 this week, besides the company stuff.

Rainy 60's today.
Clank's hemi gasser won't start, p2175 I think. I got the stuff and he removed the airbox & throttle body and cleaned it real good, reassembled and tried to start the engine but no luck.
After resetting the codes, no new ones showed up. Time for old timey checks....got spark, engine runs if you pour a little gasoline into the throttle body....checked the fuel pump fuse & relay pressure (good) then the fuel pressure. Bingo....the fuel pump is junk. I told him to turn the keyswitch On while I banged on the fuel module. The pump started, he started the engine and it ran a few seconds until the fuel pump crapped out permanently. When I get out of this sickbed, I'll take the engine hoist over there, raise the bed then tell him how to change the fuel pump.

Sunny, rainy, very cold, snow level is about 1000 ft. Bought me a 2008 Ram 3500 heavy duty, 4x4 quad cab, short box today. Love that engine brake. Truck is in pretty good cond, had a few dings, but dealership had them all taken out. They are detailing it and fixn a few things and putting in a new bed liner and I can pick it up on Thursday. Its a local truck too, so no rust. I would like to find out the gear ratio in the axle...any ideas how I can look this up?
