I remember when I first moved to Nashville in 05, Katrina came through. I don't remember it being particularly bad in Nashville, but then on labor day weekend I drove from Nashville to Carrolton GA and it got a little sketchy trying to get gas, a few gas stations I pulled into had no gas, I finally found one with gas and put 93 octane in my 92 Toyota corolla cause that's all they had!

Good morning DR, fairly uneventful weekend,,,,trip to Harbor Garbage netted me a cordless 20v fan, two batteries and a small cordless vacuum for the house, should help with keeping the car clean and small jobs at the house. It gets powerful hot in the confined spaces of aircraft interiors. Well, lets see what Monday has in store for use

Good morning dieselram..
Light rain and heavier coming. Maybe a little breezy, 30 mph or so.
Somebody put a pinwheel over the local radar!
74 now and high of 79. I'll take that!!
Checked the generator & hoarded 20 gal of gas yesterday. Filled up all the vehicles and the transfer tanks
Heard some folks say walley world shelves are bare.
Guess I'll watch the tv and the rain. Not back on the clock till tomorrow.

Good Morning DieselRam...
Cloudy and misting rain at 70 this morning.
The Real Tropical Storm showed up about dark last night with lots of rain and 20-30 mph winds.
Poured out a full rain gauge, just over 5 inches about 10pm.
Looks like an inch or more on top of that by this morning.
So far all good. Two small trees about the size of my arm across the driveway this morning.. No biggie.
Heard some rumors of gas being scarce but haven't confirmed any of them.
I should be good for a couple weeks.
Back on the clock and hoping it stays calm.
Probably no shed haulin this week.

44 and clear, low 60s this afternoon. Survived another poke and grope session with the doctor yesterday. Weight down another 7 pounds in 3 weeks. Says BP and blood sugar and in a more expectable range. Then starts in about my cholesterol. I asked him if he was behind on his drug quota.

Big spiny thing left water, about 4" in 3 hrs. I'll get a grand total tomorrow as we're still getting light showers now.
Driveway flooded and washed 1.5-2" rock into the yard, I've seen worse.
No dumptruckin' and if there's none tomorrow, I'll push the gravel back in place.
Hey Cappy, was that the same little car you had when you graduated?
