Default miss on cold start?

I have an 06 that when started cold acts as if its an old gas rig for a little while if I give it throttle it seems to smooth out any ideas?
Seems like its sucking air.
Thanks

sounds normal. my 04 will run nasty rough and blow thick white smoke for a few seconds when the temp is in the 20's or lower.

from what I'm told the engine is only fireing a few injectors at a time to slowly heat the cylinders up. or something like that. if you give it a few seconds of running on it's own it will even out.

scared the crap out of my as well the first time mine did that. though I had a few injectors gelled up or the CPS wasnt reading right.

Yes sounds normal especially if the high idle is enabled. It has a 3 cylinder drop during warm up.

I've noticed that too, when in the 20's and below. First time you hear it, you kind of have that turned dog head, or deer in the headlight look
