Default Hot August mornings

Good morning DR, mid 60s to mid 80s and heat index of +10. Up bright and squirrelly this morning, lots to do before the weekend if I want to have a weekend. The Glide needs a service and warranty work....neck bearings are loose.... Need to stay out of the toy stores for a bit, itch for a truck has subsided, for now anyway, and put some bank back.

Good Morning DieselRam...
August?!? Are you sure...?? Wow!
Starting at 70 today, 91 later and feeling like right about 100 later.

JFJ, I know that itch. It flares up every week or so.
And I already got 3 trucks!!
Been contemplating trading the chevy up about 15 years.
It's an '01 with 202 K miles & I've owned it since '05
Still a good truck but it's basically the family car, what we use when we travel too.
Never owned a GMC...

Good morning DR, low60s and fog......low 80s later....this time of year the heat index is always a factor. Today you add 10 degrees. I have seen much worse here. Road trip to KnoxVegas in the morning, Harvey stealer for a 5k service and warranty work. Might see some old friends while I am there.

Sunny 90's today and clouding up this evening, possibly some rain.
Hauled 1 load topsoil then off the rest of the day. Went to the race shop and worked on the SS/B heads the rest of the day. Will hopefully finish them tomorrow so the engine can be put together and get ready for INDY, the US Nationals in Clermont, Indiana.

Good morning Dieselram.. Still feeling a little down after seeing a biker laying dead with a yellow tarp covering him on the way home from work yesterday afternoon. Heard on the news he was waiting for the light when a car slammed into him pushing him into a pickup truck. The driver was charged with DWI and vehicular homicide. His helmet was at least 20' from the body.

Good Morning DieselRam...
Truck display said 69 this morning. Nice!! About 90 for later.
Been a thunder bumper or 2 around last couple days.
Small coverage, but they've been hanging in one area dumping lots of water more than sweeping thru.
My haul list is still short and Ralph wants to work next week before move-in to college so I took yesterday off. On the clock today.
Do some cooking tomorrow and maybe work on the KLR.
Have a great weekend y'all

Severe bummer
That's why I don't flash lights warning others of a speed trap, they might catch an impaired driver before another vehicle murder.
