Default Cornbread Red won't start

It's been taking longer to start all week. Had a slight dead pedal thur. morning but none fri.
Idle speed has been 1000rpm lately until you stop the truck then it'll idle down but have a slight, erratic miss.
Shows a P0237 & 15psi fuel pressure.
Can smell occasional exhaust smoke after trying to start the engine and injectors are wet after loosening the fittings.
Anybode been there?

Comp & pump wire disconnected.

The 0237 is MAP sensor voltage too low, which shouldn't cause a starting problem.

Is it the original VP that's in the truck?

Thank you both!
Yes, shows only P0237 & P1693 on the odometer.
Yup, it's original and started up with ether...last resort.
It restarted without help after a minute off.
Lots of black smoke just reving in neutral without the comp connected in any way.

You might want to check the truck with a scanner first and see if any other codes are there.
