Default Yes !!! Another 12 valve !!!!!!

Look what I found last night...in the dark...2 AM!!
96, Auto, 4.10's, straight 4" exhaust, "Regency" edition.
K&N filter in the stock box...not for long!!
100 Gal auxiliary tank in the bed.
Came with fender skirt/running board skirting. Previous owner took them off.
Heater doesn't leak, windows roll up and down, dry inside, radio works,
NO CRACKS IN THE DASH ANYWHERE ?!?
Need to re-cover front leather seats.

Stock for about 10 more minutes!!!
Getting ready to haul...heavy!

MAX......What do I need to make it pull like TWO freight trains but be 100% reliable, no EGT issues??
Cause it's gotta tug it up to 150 miles at a stretch....loaded like I stole it !!

I'm thinking #10 torque plate, AFC mods, and timing bump to...???

Oh, '99 and '95, 2500's "FOR SALE"...... WITH PREJUDICE!!

Thanks guys.
$5500...!!!
I knew if I didn't go NOW it would be gone today so me, "Grunt1977", & another buddy rolled out at 10pm, drove 175mi, all 3 crawled all over it with flashlights, paid the man, back in time for a 30 minute nap before my shift! Lol

Looks like 15 deg timing is popular for towing...

Gonna try the 4.10's.
I'm usually dead set against them but this is different.

Can I swap just the ring gear & pinion for 3.73's.
The guy said he checked & thought the whole carrier assembly had to be changed...?

Smoke, here's where I would start.
1: Gauges
2: Transmission upgrade
3: Bigger Max-Sticks
4: Twins
5: Cold air intake

Miles...230k...about

BRD...
Gauges are gonna be a must...for sure
Deff some air intake mods!
I know the tranny will come eventually....maybe it'll earn a few bucks first.
I would've expected to break the tranny in my 99 in 10 years, but it's still working.

Injectors are a real possibility.

Twins...?!?...that sounds expensive !

Pretty sure whole carrier. I have looked multiple times at changing mine to 4.10 and it requires carrier change. I think it changes somewhere around the 3.73 mark. I know I dont have to change the carrier to go to 3.73.
