Default Diff fluid

I just wanted to make sure everyone knows when changing diff fluid to AMSoil on clutch style limited slips you still need to add the friction modifier.

There is some really bad info on the net. I just wanted to make sure it isn't on this site.

That would be the AMSOIL Slip-Lock Additive product code ADATB-EA

Thanks Herb!

I know someone that changed out the diff fluid and 10k miles later the limited slip quit working and really started making some noise. The gear lube looked terrible after such short mileage. I would guess that material was the limited slip material. They dropped that fluid, put the friction modifier in and gear lube, works like a champ again.
I recently serviced my D80. After 85k miles of towing, offroading, driving the AMSoil gear lube looked new. Great product.
