You're beating a dead horse, just the wrong one, LOL

Like RAF was saying, what about the older ones? The new ones may come that way, but what about our older ones?? CARB looks for those stickers, if not there you earn a FAIL! Would be nice to have assurance...

2. Choose to selectively alter the meaning of "the people" from amendment to amendment

According to the Fass Company, All vehicles that are Fass equipted as of right now are exempt from CARB . All new Fass pumps will have a CARB approved badge affixed to each pump. That's what I read

That makes no sense.. So, CA bans, (eventually) old FASS systems because no sticker and FASS won't supply a sticker?? If I'm forced to buy another pump, it surely won't be a FASS! Do they have a letter from the CA BAR and or CARB, stating the old ones are exempt?? For now???Doubt it. If so, they should post it their site to be copied and carried in the truck....

That would be the easiest thing for them to do.

You make it sound like it's FASS's fault for not putting a CARB sticker on it to begin with .

You bought the pump knowing full well that that maybe just MAYBE that the state would restrict you in the distant future.

I was the first person that called and talked to Ashley about this there working on so take hand load valium and relax for cryin out loud.

Max, what's gotten into you lately??? Not here as much as I used to be in the past, so I don't know what has been going on, but from the sounds of it, it's not good.

I think you're reading more into this than what it is. That happens a lot with Internet postings and how people read them, or into them.

I know if I were an aftermarket parts manufacturer in the auto industry and wanted to distribute to CA, full knowing the way CA is when it comes to autos, I would look into CARB requirements to sell my product in the state. You're not from CA, so I don't expect you to fully understand the issue this state has with aftermarket parts. It would be great if FASS has knowledge of the older pumps ability to meet CARB's OK and then make such a statement on their site. If it were true and they were able to do it, I would like to think two things happen, 1.) post that information, 2.) have the ability to obtain that sticker, if it's needed..

You bought the pump knowing full well that that maybe just MAYBE that the state would restrict you in the distant future.

Don't agree with that at all and, no, I didn't! It's a pump!

Hey I'm just fine, nothing wrong here. Ya know I'm pretty black and white kind of guy . Tell it how it is . And no I'm not reading into it anymore than any other post. You ought to know that more than anybody.

I'm fully aware of CARB rules .

Again AS mentioned before they are working on the situation people .

What I'm saying is you can't honestly tell me that ANY modification made to your vehicle in the state of Cali that at some point that CARB or the inspection station won't deny you the certification.

Like any company selling parts, changing times requires changing of business tactics .

What really gets me is the whining and complaining about it , if you want to do something about it then do it . But sitting in the basement in your underwear eating cheese puffs accomplishes nothing.

Thats my political statement for the day. Peace!
