Where's the best place to get a new block heater for my Ol'Red '91
Looks pretty easy to replace.

Just wondering now how hard it will be getting the old one out after 30 years.

Zero Start is who makes the block heater. They are not bad to remove. Drain a the anti freeze some. Then unscrew the cap screw in the center. You may lose the bar on the back side but you can retrieve it with a magnet. Clean the hole, lube the oring and install and leak check. If it leaks you may have to use some formagasket. Block has to be dry to use that stuff so clean block with acetone.

If you buy the 1000w you will need a 20amp breaker for whatever outlet you are using. I have one on the 01 and it heats the antifreeze to about 150deg.

I do have a 30Amp for the RV, where's the best place to get on. If I were closer I would just bring the truck by the shop.
