Rained all week, finally letting up today and nice tomorrow, then back to rain. This is another summer that never was. Fireweed at the top out at the house, so that means winter is just around the corner.
Had a follow up appointment on my knee today. PA not happy with my progress so he is sending me to a specialist,,, oh joy.
While I was in town I bought a cheap portable table saw to finish the flooring.

Mostly sunny 80's after the little spitter rain this morning....hope Jet got better than I did.
Good rain at the airport so it's muddy and they don't want dirt today. Delivered a load of 3/4" stone somewhere else then fixed the tailgate lift on the KW, found a broken wiring connection after much looking. Will probably be off tomorrow.
Ear thingy working good and getting used to the new cell.

Good morning DR, cool rainy start to my Saturday, 68* and 80ish later. Wish you could have kept some of this water Clunk. Thinking a boat would have been more use than a scooter these days. Taking the truck to the dealer for the airbag recall this morning.....probably eat with my brother today too. I'm sure he will remember its my turn to buy.

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM...Clunk I took your advice, I have everything cleaned up and bought more paint. I hope to finish the painting shed today. I was going to paint after work after work yesterday but my grand Daughter needed me to stand by st the person her and her boyfriend evicted from their apartment, and her boyfriend had to work. Than I changed the door locks. He owes them money and won't pay and won't tell them where he moved too. I noticed in his stuff he was taking there was a paystub, anybody can be found with a SS number and I got his. I did talk to her boyfriend on the phone and ask if I could accidently trip the guy at the top of the stairs...He said no, my Grand Daughter was ok with it...She comes from a good gene pool.

So much for a nice day today. Looks like rain already.
Today's jobs;
Patch the hole in the wall where I ran the gas pipe.
Finish replacing the flooring I pulled up to remove the dish washer and reposition the cabinets.
Cut the end of the counter off were I removed a cabinet.
Cut down a cotton wood so I can get easier access to the oil tank.

Mostly cloudy humid high 80's.
No dumptruckin' today so I did some chores.
This ear thingy, plantronics voyager legend works good as a hands free device while driving.
If I get a call, I touch the little button on it and answer the call. To make a call, I touch and hold the same button a coupla seconds then tell it who to call. It tells me who it's calling then makes the call. The cellphone sits in the passenger seat and doesn't slide off because I put a rubber tire patch on the back of it.
Man, there are so many people texting in traffic, going around curves or just speeding out the highway.
Even law enforcement

Good morning DR, Recall done, lunch ate, nap took and now for today???? Thinking breakfast someplace. Gotta check the weather as a long ride might be in order. I have a pretty good dealer in KY, gonna give them first crack at selling me a truck when I get ready.

In the high 80's today again, we're covered in a blanket of smoke for weeks now due to the forest fires, ...you can look directly at the Sun, as its filtered thru the smoke. Its a huge orange ball. The smoke in some places north of me is so thick, the street lights are coming on during the day. No rain in the forecast.

Midnight sun? That has passed and we are rapidly headed toward mid day dark.
Rain all next week. Saw fresh snow on top of the peaks behind the house. The heater has been kicking on the last few morning.

Got everything done I hoped to get done except the counter top. Gotta find a place to put all the junk the wife piled on it.
