Issues to be aware off??
So I guess it's "Rest in Peace" for the ole '98. It's been 48 days since it was stolen. Had a citizen spot it doing rural crime, but Dudley Du Right of the RCMP has not been able to locate it......enough of the blithering!
Looking at 2006 Dodge dually.
2006 Dodge 3500 5.9 turbo diesel
-4x4
-Fully loaded 6 seater
-Power everything
-Leather interior
-Heated seats
-Fully rebuilt auto trans done in 2016,
-New torque converter
-2 new batteries
-New alternator
-New AC pump
-New serpentine belt
-New firestone air bag rear suspension with onboard compressor and in-cab switch and gauge
-K/N cold air intake
-Black lockable Toolbox
-Rhino line box liner
-Flip down screen with dvd and headphone ports
-Full 4" exhaust
-Camper ready with 7 prong outlets in the box and on the bumper
-Rear end serviced in 2017 and in great shape
-Other then a few small dings and scratches the body is in great shape
-carpet and headliner in excellent condition
-Leather is all in excellent shape other then a rip in driver seat but is easily fixed
-all maintenance done on time and by professionals
311,000 kms (193246mi)
5886 hours

All new to this electronic stuff. The mechanical was relatively simple.
Any and all feedback welcome.

If it looks like its been taken care of, its probably not a bad buy. Fuel injectors might be a good thing to replace just as preventative maintenance. At 200000 miles things like wheel bearings, u joints, ball joints are going to be near the end of their life

Check the operation of the heater blend doors, defrost when selected, floor when selected etc. front hubs I'm guessing have been done already but may be getting close again. Track bar bushing and I really like my steering box stabilizer. If you off road they make a version the does not connect the frame rails. I have walked a dozen dealer lots.....found nothing I like better. Lift pump might be a good thing check about too.

Up here in AK there are a lot of slope trucks with low miles and high hours for sale cheap. We have learned to avoid them. The engines usually don't last long.
