Cool, sunny 60's today.
Hauled a special asphalt today. It's real sticky and hardens while it's still warm. Messes up the bed too. I spray diesel fuel with a little used engine oil to try and keep the bed slick.

Woke up to 6" of snow Monday morning and still snowing. Had to drive the wife's Subaru to surgery so she could drive me home. The surgery was easy, the drive home was scary. I had to sit in the back seat because I couldn't bend my knee. By the end of the day we had 10" of snow.

I knew Mrs. Cougar was well qualified, she just needs a renewed confidence.

Sunny near 70F today. Still delivering asphalt.
The cooling fan comes on when the engine heats up but won't go off after the engine cools. After spraying the fan clutch with a good stream of water (rust and brown water came out of it), I noticed the braided air line was foaming....leaking air when I had the manual fan switch on/ no foaming with the manual switch off.
I guess it needs a new fan clutch air line, along with a new power steering pump....the steering is getting harder. That ought to make the boss's day

The girlfriend swears by her Subaru's, We are on the 4th one, last one was a Forester which turned me off of Subaru for a bit, it used a quart of oil every 1000 miles (And it uses Full Synthetic 0w-20) Subaru offered to replace the engine, but they hadn't really figured out why they were having issues, so I was hesitant to let them pull the engine being a new engine may do the same thing. I guess they ended up finding the cylinder bores were not getting honed correctly at the factory. We ended up trading it in and got a 16 Crosstrek. Its got 46,000 miles on it now and has been great. I have a spare set of steel wheels with Blizzaks for the winter, its a beast in the ice and snow.

Even my front wheel drive Focus is good in the snow on good snow tires.

Good Morning DieselRam....
Only down to 62 overnight. Mostly cloudy and upper 70's this afternoon.
Yep, same line of rain and thunderstorms coming this way after midnight.
That urethane epoxy set up nice and hard on the 07's radiator but didn't stop the drip so...I see a new radiator in my future.
Wondering if I should swap the fan clutch while I'm in there...
Gets just a little warm when pulling hard and A/C doesn't cool worth a flip when sitting still.

Down to 2 this morning. Wondering why the heater was running so much, now I know. Ya, the Subaru is a fantastic winter car especially with good winter studs on it. My only complaint is it was not made for big people. If I ever get moved it is scheduled for replacement, probably with a Forester or Outback. At 200K miles' it's due for a lot of work more costly than it'a worth.

Mostly cloudy 70's today.
Hauled 2 loads asphalt and that job I complete.
Hauled 2 loads 3/4" stone, which scours the bed out pretty good so it's in good shape to haul anything.
