13, -1 with the wind chill. Expecting a light snow today, high of about 15.
My MIA coveralls finally showed up at the post office. I ordered them back in early October. A friend in Anchorage is sending me a care package of electronics parts for hobby projects. Now that I have nothing but free time on my hands I need something to do. I'm building a 40 watt 4 channel amp, pre amps, and a quadrophonic synthesizer to turn 2 channels into 4 to start with. I can get pre made circuit boards for the amp and pre amps. I also need to build an IO/power board for different inputs and 5 volts for the bluetooth module. My proto type amp looks kinda scary, but it works. Except for the heat sink, its the size of a small cell phone and sounds great.

Hey Cougar, I didn't know you were an electronics dude.
I remember a kit to build a color TV, from Radio Shack I think.
Sunny low 50's today. Worked most of the day at the tornado damaged duplex today...cleaned up a small dump truck load of more fiberglass insulation and broken drywall.

25, 11 with the wind chill. A small storm pushing in. May get a few snow flakes out of it.
Clunk, I put together many a Heath Kit projects in my younger days. Wish they where still around. It was something I enjoyed very much.
Jet, my old boss from Quantum found this creeper that was amazing. It could articulate into like a dozen different forms. I was going to order one, but they laid me off before I could. Don't remember who made it.
BRD, haven't seen the sun around here for quite a while either. Storms, blowing dust, and the typical arctic winter nights. Got a shed full of unfinished projects that need doin.

Cougar, my only successful electronic project in life was a crystal radio....no batteries and it really worked good....picked up a nearby R&B station at night.
The semi successful electronic project was soldering game control buttons on my first Edge Comp., it worked another year or so.

Sunny 40's today.
Back to dump truckin' for the moment. Hauled dirt with a 2 hr. turnaround.
Supposed to do it again tomorrow.

An update to the Jeep gasser fuel pump issue. After cutting off a few times, the dealer installed a made up fuel pump relay kit to address the computer not being able to handle the fuel pump current draw....under warranty. This lasted several years then that relay quit working and the engine shut offs returned. I bought a same make-number relay and it worked a year until it quit working.
Mopar has a new plan with a much more robust looking relay kit and installed it on the Jeep about 2 months ago. So far it's ok.

21, 10 with the wind chill. Expecting an inch of snow today, an inch tonight, and an inch tomorrow. We'll see if it turns out to be 0 inches or 12 inches. Got my new replacement phone last night. A Samsung A71. Never had an Android phone, this is going to be a new learning experience. At least I won't have to deal with iphone/itunes attitude.
Hey Clunk, a crystal radio was my very 1st project. I saw the plans in a magazine. It was all down hill from there. I've been eyeing a tube amp kit, but at $750 without tubes, that's hard to take.
Jet, I don't think that was the one I saw, but similar.
BRD, hope the eyeball is healing well.
