They have gone way up....just recently. When I first got these 17" rims, I could have sworn I got quoted for 236.00 each.
The Nitto's work well for what I need. The Hankook tires are really getting pricey too.

I agree......when I bought my Coppers BFG's were $243.00, the Handcooks had shot up to $198.00. The Coppers were $189.00.

We can thank crude oil prices for that.

Weird thing is my 17s were cheaper than my 16s. by 100.00.

Last year I bought Falken Rocky Mountain ATS 265/70/17E from Discount Tire online ... I think I paid around $160 per ... I see they're $178 now. They're quiet, ride nice and seem to be not showing any wear yet. Performing well offroad, too.
No noticeable squirm or wigglies pulling the 5er, either.

I think MAX just stuck these same tires under the black beast, if I'm not mistaken?

I have had good luck with the Falken on my utility trailer. Unfortunately, they did not have my size in the Falken when I bought the Coppers I didn't know about online.

Yes he did put them on his truck. Good looking tire. Discount told me that they haven't been getting good mileage out of them. Once they hit 50%, they go quick.
They may have been just trying to get a tire sale at a higher price too...

Keep us posted how they do for you.

The Nitto tires I got might get 40k, but they work extremely well. That is what I am looking for.

So far I have a little over 10k on the tires. They will only be a summer tire for me though as the stockers will go back on for the winter.

I know you probably keep a log of what tires have how many miles, keep us posted too. Those tires look good for winter duty...but understand why you just run them in the summer due to the nice rims you have.
