Visited NY state a few years ago. Buffalo and the Niagara Falls, traveled across the state on the toll road on the way to NH. Beautiful.

We may someday put a well in, but the last few years I've been bringing 4 15 gallon drums each time we go up, what we don't use I pump into a 55 gallon drum I have up there. Probably going to just buy a premade shed and have it dropped off there. There are a few places I can get a 12x16 shed for a reasonable price. Once I get a shed up there I will put gutters on it and plumb them into a rain barrel.

Haha, might be a bit of a fuel surcharge there. I talked with the dealer yesterday, looks like there isnt much of a price jump to go to 12 x 20, so I think Ill go bigger. Just gotta give the town a call and get permits going and then I'll get it ordered up. I can't believe that people actually pay the rent to own price, it ends up almost doubling the final cost!

Yes, the interest rate is up there, but all some people want to know is how much per month.
And some think they can just pay what they want per month...till I show up.
For us, repo'd buildings are discounted 10%, 20% if it's a cash sale, and some of them are like new.
Might check that.
Lofted barns offer the most storage space per square foot...or lofted barn cabins if you want a sittin' porch.

We've settled on a 12x20 lofted barn with a overhead door. Getting the upgraded floor too with 12" on center floor joists and 3/4" plywood. I didn't think to ask about any repo or scratch and dent stuff. Its going to be real nice to have a shed up there, that way I don't have to tow my trailer with 2 four wheelers on it up and back every time, and my wood splitter and wood chipper can live there full time.

Is it a kit you build yourself, or does it come pre-assembled?
