Default Missing

It has happened twice now 191000 on clock truck had been started and moved 1 hour later start it to go somewhere and I swear it was only running on 3 cylinders pushing pedal down it acted like a running rich car motor I thought injectors so I dosed a 1/4 tank of fuel with a whole bottle of howes meaner cleaner than proceeded to run the snot out of it. Problem solved ? NO in garaged yesterday did same thing and after usual 25 second run in it quit and run fine. The only thing I have noticed is it seems to have a flat spot at full throttle like the TPS is screwing up , Thoughts Ideas Mark

IAT sensor maybe?? Thinks it's below freezing and running in the warm up mode?
Crank position sensor possibly? Saw that once...Ran like crap till you got it over 1000 rpm or something..

Check for codes??

Though I don't run CRs, you might check for contaminated fuel. Though the fuel may look clean, it may have something other than diesel in it.

2146 - Fuel injection bank A supply voltage circuit fault/open
2149 - Same, bank B
2509 - ECM power input intermittent
1751 - Trans throttle valve minimum range performance/fault

You can Google codes. That google is a smart cookie!!

Sounds like you got an electrical problem, short, broken wire somewhere...maybe??
I'm just thinking out loud here.
