Good morning DR, busy weekend with family in from MI and OH....step moms birthday and most of the boys were there. Minor tune up on my brother Hyundai as cyl 1 and4 misfire codes were present.....60 mile drive for the parts His failure to perform routine maintenance probably cost him a coil pack too. Time will tell.....Y'all have a great week

BIG SOGGY SNOW FLAKES this morning through today, clearing tomorrow, then more BIG SOGGY SNOW FLAKES. At least it has cooled enough for it not to be rain and freezing rain.
Got my eye on a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Mercedes 3.7 turbo diesel in it. Hard to find reliable information on it. Seems like when someone starts a thread in a forum, someone hijacks it.

Mostly sunny near 40F today. One of the Pete's ISX had an exhaust leak and has some fire burn grooves on the head at the exhaust ports. I got some 3/32" 99% nickel rods, a better ground clamp and made a better solder joint on the stick end clamp of my little 110V welder and tested it on a piece of cast iron I prepared. It worked just fine but found out later they just put a new gasket with high hopes....I'll most likely get to weld on it soon.
