Default September Salutes

Good morning DR, remnants of the big weather maker still pouring down here, should be gone soon. In the 50s tonight. Youngest son and his band of heatherns came to see me last night made a mess at the Mexican dive. I miss them. Hump day, y'all git with it

Partly sunny 80F today. Hauled asphalt and supposed to haul more tomorrow.
Bucket shows 5" total from the hurricane and the mosquitos are on a rampage.
Made some vinegar & garlic pickled hot dogs and brats yesterday....will check them out tomorrow.

52 and back to rain for a week. I seem to be fighting a loosing battle with my Medicare part D provider. Automated phone system that doesn't understand English. then transfers me to someone that can neither speak or understand the English language. Then to add insult to injury, Samsung wants me to send my new defective cell phone to Vietnam for repair or replacement. No local support. I'm just going to buy a phone from someone else and eat the loss. I can't be without my phone for who knows how long.

Good afternoon DieselRam...
84 at mid afternoon..
I think I hear that train..
Thunderstorm yesterday afternoon knocked out a lot of power...ours stayed on.
Central AC died. Outdoor unit sprung a leak. Probably Monday before anyone can look at it. I could probably solder it, but still need freon so I'll let someone else be responsible.
We got 1 window unit for emergencies, 10,000 btu. It keeps us from melting at least.
I decided last night to go find a small one for the bedroom too. 3 hours and 3 towns later...found one.
I should get up and do something, just can't decide what..

Good Morning DieselRam...
Clear and 62 at the beginning.. Mid 80's later.
Yep, a taste of fall, right on schedule.
Don't worry, summer never gives up that easy.
Dove season opens tomorrow and I've done almost nothing to prepare.
Bushhogged everything, need to start plowing.
Maybe I'll just shoot turtles.
Labor day weekend too.. Feel obligated to offer up some burnt...er...smoked sacrifices.

48 and rain. Leaves are falling, fireweed has bloomed, and everything else is turning colors. Except the spruce of course. Mr Morris is depressed. Not liking the cold wet weather. He wants to go out, but only if you carry him.

Sunny and up to mid 80's today. I've always heard the big spiny storms break the "burnin' you up" summer weather for a little while.
Hauled asphalt then a load of crusher run. The rockyard is closed until Tue. so I'll get some work around here done this weekend. Might get to take a ride on Red T too.
