When it's all you can get, it's all you can get. Couldn't wait weeks to get new parts shipped in. My back up vehicle is still in the shop.

Well, now the front right hung up. Started dragging, then smoking. Towed it to a shop in town I trust.

I'm on the fence about rebuilt parts.....if the core was serviceable and the work done correctly then the chances are good you have a component you can trust....I usually get my rebuilds from NAPA.....installed two O/H'd calipers on the front of my truck when I replaced the pads and rotors. So far so good.

True...and I shouldn't have included calipers as new ones are not always availiable for older vehicles. But, I would definitely stay away from rebuilt master cyls tho.

Both rear caliper I got from Napa had to be exchanged, both wouldn't seal at the banjo fitting. They looked like they used the coarsest possible media to blast the housings leaving the sealing surface too rough for a proper seal. 1 of them the bleeder striped out when I tightened it.
The front took 2 calipers, 2 rotors, and a set of pads for a grand total of $500 parts and labor.

I had the drilled and slotted discs on my 91.5. They worked really good. If I would have been able to plan this I would have bought them an had them ready. Just not my luck.
