Good Morning DieselRam!!!
62 at bedtime, 55 and raining at wakeup, and all downhill from here to 30 ish by sundown.
Could see a few flakes, snow-flakes that is about evening.
On the clock today.
The department Christmas party is tonight.
They say we can go on duty, but that usually ends up being a pain. We'll see.

Christmas shopping.... Yeah..

Good morning DR, a balmy 23* here, pretty good dusting of snow on the ground although little stuck to the roads. Catching up on odd jobs this morning, swapping robbed parts to the original locations....6 year gear inspection pushed back due to a windshield failure in FL......can't guarantee being done by Jan 1 now. Best get moving, house work to do before work.....

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM...Into a new pattern of dry mornings and wet afternoons. Old Red doesn't like mornings when it's cold out, but she's happy to go if I plug her into the timer the night before.

Wild weather ride. High winds continue with power outages. Temps went from 25 and snow to 40 and rain. Back down to 30 with no rain or snow predicted in the next week. Work has been a wild ride too. My boss has just lost it, blows up at anything. He got on me for a non existent paperwork problem, so I called him a drama queen in front of everyone. Later he apologized. I can understand his frustration. Lately it has been a revolving door with employees leaving and new ones (very green ones) coming on. None of them have been properly trained on our procedures and our procedures are poorly written. Among my new tasks (not that I have enough to do anyway) is to write step by step instructions on how to correctly complete paperwork. What are they turning loose from from A&P schools?
