Default what $5k would do

I got a 2000 24v standard cab automatic 4x4 dually. If I were to put $5k into performance upgrades (trans is done Goerend billet) what could be done and what would the end result be. For the most part this truck pulls a heavy 14k dump trailer. Other then the trans mod it is 100% stock with 3.?? gears.

What mechanical issues would be the most likely to rear up as a result (if any)? The truck just turned 32k miles so I'm sure there is a lot of life left in it if it stayed pure stock, it does not have that dreaded block so all is good there too.

Would injectors eat up $5k? Or is that just a starting point?

Injectors, injection pump, lift pump, turbo, and tuner will eat up your 5 dollar bill.
