Default Hot August Howdy's

GOOOOOD MORNING DIESELRAM...
A cozy 76* start to a 97*ish day. Low chances of a thunderstorm...maybe and supposed to cool down by tomorrow to upper 80's.
Friday afternoon about 3pm the truck thermometer said 104*. No urban heat island either, out in the country on a gravel road!!

Bushogging with the new-to-me tractor yesterday till it got so hot I didn't wanna move my hand on the steering wheel. Still got more done in 2 hrs than I use to in 3!
Took an inside break till bout 4pm then moved the dog pen and mowed the yard.
On the clock and doing my monthly haulin paperwork.
Sure hope all stays qu###. To hot for such foolishness!!

45, headed to the mid 70s again today. Sunny to mostly sunny.
Gravel absorbs and stores a lot of heat. That's why Mr Morris prefers to lay on the hard warm gravel instead of the soft cool grass.

Good morning DR, Monday, a sure sign we didn't have enough fun over the weekend.....sneeze and we missed it weekend. Cut grass and food with family Saturday, Ducked work Sunday....coached the new guy through it.....probably thinks he fixed it. Ice cream cone at a 50s diner Saturday night.....historic place in the local scheme of things. Food is good too

The pad looks a whole lot better. Great big pile of roots at one end I need to haul off. Still some out there, but a few loads of pit run will take care of that.
Shopping day. That leaves Mr Morris and I without adult supervision for a few hours. What to do, what to do.
