Default Miss, #1 not getting fuel?

I have a 97 ram that developed a miss. Crack the #1 injector line and fuel kind of just seeps out instead of squirting out like the other cylinders. #1 doesnt change the way the engine runs when cracked, the others do. Injection pump has full cuts, pulled all of the dvs out and they all looked and felt fine. Plungers move just fine in their bores. Overflow valve sounds like its working, 30psi of fuel pressure. The miss kind of clears up undoer boost.

Any ideas what this could be? Tring to give the best explanation i can. Thanks in advance

Over my head, but logic would dictate if the injector line doesn't squirt fuel it's in the pump..

Thats kind of what i was thinking as well, but i was just seeing if there was something someone knew i could check before having to drop that much on an injection pump rebuild

Did some more fooling around today. Swapped #1 and #2 injectors and the issue didnt change. I pulled the dv in #1 and rotated the barrel after marking its location and the whole barrel seems to be moving as 1 piece. Ive seen that the barrels can crack? Would pulling the barrel out be an issue if im just pulling to inspect and putting it back in? I know everyone says not to but id rather be sure of the issue before sending the pump off to be rebuilt.

Well after LOTS of f'in around with the truck i finally figured out the issue. Pulled the barrel and found nothing, cleared lines, checked plunger lift, swapped injectors, all to find out it was a cracked delivery valve. Dodged the pricey pump rebuild! Purs like a kitten with a new set of dvs in her now.

Also, pulling the plunger wasnt bad at all. As long as your careful i dont see why everyone dissagrees with pulling them to inspect. Didnt effect anything for me.
