Sunny mid-80's today. After Church I bought 3 new poles that hold up the top of my front porch. These are plastic with a metal pipe inside, supposed to hold up 5000 lbs.
They were 1 inch too long but the sawzall took care of that. The optional pretty plastic decoration bases are $16 per pole......$48 for 6 little pieces of plastic. I left them in the store.
Other than that, I hadda good day.

Good you checked in gadget, hope all is well with you.

Another summer day but topped out about 89 today so a little cooler.
Sprinkled fertilizer & hoed around the squash,
bush hogged the turn- around field & fought with the trash in the tractor fuel tank.
Changed fuel line on the lawn mower & tuned the carb a little.
Looks like the starter bushing fell out of the smaller tractor again...battery's hot but drags over...
At least I got the correct one to replace it this time.

Sunny, muggy 80's today. 1 airbag bolt on the tag axle broke so after the hauling was over, I took the bag off, used a reverse drill bit to back out the piece of bolt then installed the thing back on the truck with new bolts and washers.....just plain wore me out. It's a 2 ibuprofen night tonight.

Sunny, muggy 90F today. Hauled asphalt then some pea gravel then the regular mud and rocks. Crazy neighborhood squirrel wants to taste all my tomatoes as soon as they get a little red....just takes a bite or 2 then leaves the rest for me. I guess he's never heard of squirrel and dumplin's.
