Went back to the beer can, sat in front of the fan and napped with the cat while my computer had a brain fart. Still trying to remove the virus.
When do you actually move into the new place Coug?

Mostly sunny 90's today. Hauled and spread fine rock then later hauled rock & mud.
Cut the grass when I got home.

Good morning DR, major line of storms last night....textbook thunderboomers. Sixty eight this morning and 91* being the best guess for later. Nephew has mechanical issues on his care...part will be here about noon, thinking its a morning job before the heat hits.

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM...sunny today sunnier tomorrow on National blow your fingers off day. Our city council has decided that we can have no fireworks in the city limits. Question, is a half of pound of black powder in a steel open end pipe a firework? I looking at signal cannon.

Good Morning DieselRam....

Oh what I would give for 68* and mid 80's.....
Lows been 72-75 past week plus, highs 90-96 and the "feels like temp" was 111* yesterday
A thunder shower here and there, but overall and dry!
Full time job just staying hydrated!!

Had to call the dispatcher yesterday, ran out of stuff to haul. First time in over 2 years.
But he loaded me right up, no problem.

Short week this week. No oversize on the 4th and FD today and Friday, so hauled yesterday and probably Thursday.

Played with my new 'Longhorn' smoker/grill combo Sunday. 3 sections, gas, charcoal, smoker box.
Chicken turned out ok. Plan to try it out tomorrow on some ribs.

Ordered a new thermostat and temp sensor for the '07.
Not sure if it's running warm or just lying about it.

At this rate, I don't know when we will move. There is a lot of work yet to do on the place and keep finding more. I've been trying to find a contractor to do the more involved stuff, but they are all busy on bigger projects.
Really hot yesterday, 71 outside 84 inside the beer can. The house stays much cooler in the summer and easy to heat in the winter.

Sure, it's a perfectly legal signal cannon, legal in 50 states....just point it in the direction of yer mayor's house.

Good morning and Happy 4th of July, a bit warmer today at 95*, nice start though. Working on my nephews car this morning, might ride some this evening. In between I think I might find a cool spot to nap. Try not to blow anything off brd...

GOODMORNINGDIESELRAM....Happy independence Day, I'll be wearing my Kevlar gloves today to help minimize any damage to my fingers and a welder's mask to protect my eyes. What could go wrong. Be safe all and let's remember what this day really is. I smell smoke gotta hide the evidence!

Muggy 90's today.
Showed a neighbor how to adjust valves on #1 cylinder of his race car engine and had him do the rest. I think he'll be ok on that.
Put some copper sulfate solution on some drywall at Church that had some mold on it that I cleaned with tilex. That should be the end of that for a few decades.
Checked on some posts for my front porch then came home and watched Excaliber....pretty good flick. My favorite line in it is "For it is the doom of men that they forget".
